264 million euro contract signed for Rīga Airport rail link

The agreement was actually made on 27th August and total funding of the project is 264.18 million euros. LDz plans to implement the activities envisaged in it together with its cooperation partner SIA “Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas” (European railway lines/EDzL) by 31st December 2029.

EDzL in turn is Latvia's third-share of the RB Rail consortium involving all three Baltic states to build the Rail Baltica high speed rail link.
