Smiltēns could be next Latvian Saeima Speaker

It is planned to nominate Ināra Mūrniece from the National Alliance and possibly also Inese Lībiņa-Egnere from New Unity as Deputy Speakers. New Unity is also considering other candidates for the Praesidium – Ainārs Latkovskis and Edmunds Jurēvics.

Antoņina Ņenaševa from Progressives and Linda Liepiņa from Latvia First could be nominated for the posts of Secretary of the Saeima and Deputy Secretary.
