Latvia ends a decade of involvement in operation 'Inherent Resolve'

The operation was launched on the basis of a letter from the Permanent Representative of Iraq to the UN to the UN Secretary-General, in which the Iraqi government issued an appeal to all UN member states to provide support in combating ISIL/Da'esh.
